The founder of Bridge Collaborative is nationally recognized as a resource to Regional and Transportation Planning Organizations and has worked to correct issues faced by these agencies. Bridge Collaborative can assist these organizations in taking their projects to new heights and work to engage their communities while ensuring that clients are compliant with state and Federal regulations.

Kendall, is an industry leader with over two decades of experience in the MPO arena. Kendall's expertise in Public Involvement, Civil Rights, Title VI and Environmental Justice Initiatives is unparalleled.

She has been recognized as a national resource by the FHWA for her innovative and groundbreaking initiatives in public involvement, including creating national model level programs and initiatives. Kendall has also been instrumental in creating Environmental Justice methodologies at both the regional and federal levels. In the Quadrennial Certification process she has proven to be a pivotal figure in addressing substantial corrective actions faced by her last MPO. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, the MPO was cited as a national model in the field of Public Involvement and Environmental Justice. Kendall's knowledge and skills make her an invaluable asset to any organization looking to navigate the Quadrennial Certification process smoothly. 

In addition to her work in the MPO arena, Kendall has also spent over a decade in the non-profit sector, building strong relationships with social justice organizations. She has also worked at a senior level for a well-established engineering firm, Parsons Brinkerhoff Quade and Douglas, during which time she assisted in the development of Community Impact Assessment Guidelines and School Outreach Program Development. 

Kendall will be leading Bridge Collaborative in offering a complete package of support for Regional Transportation Planning across the country. With her unique ability to bridge all aspects of Public Involvement, Environmental Justice, Civil Rights, and Title VI, Kendall is committed to making the process easier and more far-reaching. Her leadership will undoubtedly bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and collaboration to the table, ensuring that all stakeholders are represented and supported in their efforts to plan and implement effective transportation strategies. Throughout her military career, Veronica distinguished herself as the Navy’s premier subject matter expert on culture, climate, and inclusion. Her role as the senior program assessor in the Office of the Naval Inspector General has equipped her with invaluable insights into fostering environments that promote equity and community engagement.

 

With a remarkable track record as a mentor and coach for 110 Command Climate Specialists, Veronica has excelled as a subject matter expert in Navy Equal Opportunity and Sexual Harassment Prevention matters, as well as Military Equal Opportunity Programs.

 

Veronica's commitment to enhancing interpersonal relationships shines through her development and delivery of training programs tailored for senior commanders and enlisted leaders. By focusing on both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, she empowers individuals to optimize workplace relations, ultimately leading to increased cohesion among teams. Her academic credentials, including a bachelor's degree in Technical Management with a specialization in Criminal Justice and a graduate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, complement her professional journey, making her a Certified Diversity Professional and a Distinguished Graduate of the Defense Culture Institute.

 

Bridge Collaborative will include Veronica’s expertise in recognizing the significance of inclusive practices not only in our everyday business operations but in our creation of meaningful public engagement strategies within the realms of transportation planning and environmental justice initiatives. Additionally, Veronica will be partnering with us in our Title VI and Equity Training and Federal Certification programs. 

 

Veronica’s undergraduate major is in Technical Management with a specialization in Criminal Justice, and her graduate degree is in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Certified Diversity Professional. She is a Distinguished Graduate of the Defense Culture Institute (previously known as Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute). Veronica is pursuing her doctoral degree in Organizational Change and Leadership at University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education. Additional qualifications include:

With over 20 years of extensive experience in the Government Contracting sector, Tomette brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership that perfectly aligns with our mission of fostering inclusive partnerships and enhancing public and stakeholder engagement in our initiatives.

Starting her illustrious career at industry giants like Lockheed Martin-IT and General Dynamics-AIS, Tomette managed contracts in IT services of $145M and sold cyber solutions, IT solutions and satellite solutions and services valued between an impressive 18

million and 2.5 billion dollars. Her expertise does not stop there; she has led business development wins in the Department of Homeland Security, DHS since its inception, displaying her deep understanding of government operations and community needs. 


In late 2023, Ms. Herring joined the executive leadership team as the Senior Director of Business Development, West Region, focusing on B2B services for strategic business development efforts to include Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business

Technology Transfer (STTR), and support to economic development.   


Ms. Herring, an award-winning business professional, is most proud of her community service work. As an abuse survivor, she used her experiences to enhance her service efforts, leading to her groundbreaking 2007 article, “When Love Hurts.” Recognized by national

organizations for her work with women, children, and incarcerated individuals, she has addressed issues like violence prevention, education, and empowerment. A published writer, former National Press Member, performer, TV producer, and radio co-host, she has

also supported military personnel through various workshops, training programs, and speaking engagements at key military locations including the Pentagon.  Her vision is to continue supporting military families and advancing STEM/Arts education and opportunities

for women and children in underserved communities.  


Tomette's recent achievement, winning a 93-million-dollar Blanket Purchase Agreement with NASAs Earth Sciences Group for Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR for small satellites, solutions, and related services, highlights her strong connections and credibility within

the industry. This accolade not only underscores her technical capabilities supporting challenging National Security concerns but also enhances Bridge Collaborative's ability to serve diverse communities, clients, stakeholders and tackle complex challenges

effectively.

At Bridge Collaborative, we believe that graphic design should be more than just a one-size-fits-all approach. That's why we have taken a collaborative approach to our graphic design services, engaging with a group of talented artists across the country. Our team of five artists has a combined total of 20 years of experience working in the MPO/transportation planning field, with expertise in graphic design, street art, video production, and videography. By bringing together this diverse group of artists, we are able to provide our clients with unique and fresh designs that truly reflect their community's culture and speak to their community on a visceral level.

We also recognize the importance of supporting local artists, which is why we work with artists in the regions where our clients implement planning projects. This not only helps to support the local arts community but also ensures that our designs are rooted in the local culture and resonate with the community on a deeper level.
